Join us for a photowalk around the area of Kensington - we will share rolls of film and cameras between the group as we walk and talk. You will have the chance to take photos with a range of analogue cameras throughout the walk.
In the second half of the workshop, we will be making plant-based developers from items foraged along the walk and from the studio gardens. You will learn how to make your own low-toxicity plant based developer and how to use it to develop the black and white films from the photowalk.
We will also experiment with less toxic alternatives to fix.
After the workshop, we will scan all the images made for you to keep as digital files.
When: Saturday 28th September, 10-1pm.
Where: SET Kensington, 7-17 Ansdell Street, W8 5BN.
Facilities: Large darkroom, large bright teaching room with outside area attached.
If you are student/unwaged, please contact us for a discount code.
